Casey’s yoga mantra is Breathe Here Now (thank you Max Strom!). Yoga has taught her through breath how to be present in the moment. Once Casey’s attention shifted to the “now” she was amazed at the benefits: increased self awareness, more gratitude, better memory, and she is happier. That’s her hope for her students as well. That through a creative vinyasa class focused on breath and staying present in asana, her students finish class feeling happier and mentally and physically stronger. She loves to incorporate themes into her classes from Chakras to Myths of the Asanas, inspirations from gurus like Yogi Bhajan or Albus Dumbledore, or read and connect a class to books such as The Four Agreements or Where the Sidewalk Ends. Casey loves that yoga keeps her in a place of continuous learning and growth, and she gets to stay a student for life. “Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty.
