Intro to Inversions; Yoga Upside Down | Tacoma

The workshop will be 2 1/2 hours navigating headstand, forearm stand, and handstand.
The 2 1/2 hours is broken up into 3 parts:
Part one – 45-minute practice to prepare the body physically to integrate the drills and inversions we will be doing!
Part two – 1 hour & 15 minutes learning various drills to build a foundation, learning proper alignment, how to exit out of inversions, and then playtime. The drills emphasize alignment and safety. We will be on the mat and also utilizing the wall so the students can tap into the excitement and curiosity of being upside down (no students will be freely practicing without a wall spot.
Part three: 30-minute practice focused on softening and stretching the various body parts mentally and physically we worked into.
