Ayurveda: The Art of Living Well | With Sona
If you’ve ever been curious about how to align your lifestyle most optimally with nature, this workshop is for you!
Sona will introduce the principles and pillars of Ayurveda, the 5,000-year-old holistic healing system and sister science to Yoga.
I will gently guide your attention towards a way of living that is aligned with the inherent rhythms of nature, that is also within you. You will learn about the five elements and the doshas and discover how to adapt your lifestyle to the environment, season, time of life, times of day and night, and more.
I will give you the tools to determine your personal doshic constitution and show you indicators to help you assess your current imbalances. We will discuss the true meaning of health, the causes of disease and how to both remove and minimize toxins in the body, mind, emotions, and spirit.
Most importantly, you will learn how to adopt dinacharya, a daily routine of self-care, so that you can practice what you’ve learned on a daily basis. My aim is to make the wisdom that has been passed down from our elders accessible to you. Ayurvedic medicine is increasingly and especially relevant within the context of our modern lifestyle.
